Jessica Biel has just given birth to a bouncing baby boy over the weekend and husband Justin Timberlake is ecstatic that there will be somebody who will follow his footsteps.
The 34-year-old singer-songwriter and his 33-year-old wife welcomed their son, who according to sources close to the couple, will be named Silas Randall Timberlake, notes People.
The representatives of the couple also refused to divulged further details and simply said that mother and baby are doing just fine.
It appears that it was Justin who named their baby since Silas was the middle name of her maternal grandfather Bill Bomar who passed away three years ago. Randall on the other hand is his own middle name and also the first name of his father.
Keeping the pregnancy under wraps
While the couple initially kept the pregnancy under wraps, the baby bump started becoming obvious sometime in October last year.
It was only in January when they finally confirmed that a baby is forthcoming. Apparently, they waited until Justin Timberlake marked his 34th birthday to make the announcement about their baby.
He also posted a picture of him kissing Jessica’s already grown tummy on Instagram and captioned it by thanking everyone for the birthday wishes and telling them all too that he is getting the greatest gift ever this year and that he can no longer wait.
Justin also alluded that both he and Jessica are not aware of the sex of their baby and they are even taking gamely bets with friends for guesses.
Jessica’s birthday
On March, Jessica also celebrated her 33rd birthday with only her husband and close friends around.
Justin Timberlake once again took to Instagram to show how much he loves his wife by posting happy birthday to the sweetest, most gorgeous, goofiest, and most bad-ass chick he knows. He added that Jessica makes her smile until it hurts and that he also loves her like crazy.
On March 29, the singer also received the innovator award during the iHeartRadio Music Awards. In addition to detailing about how being different enabled him to make a difference on the lives of people, Justin once again paid tribute to his wife by referring to Jessica as his best friend and favorite collaborator.
He also said in his acceptance speech during the iHeartRadio Music Awards that he can hardly wait to see his and Jessica’s greatest creation yet. Justin ended his speech then by saying that Daddy’s heading home to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get his swaddle on.
Justin and Jessica tied the knot in October 2012 after dating on and off for five years. During an interview with Ellen on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, he said that one of the good decisions he made in his life is marrying Jessica.
