Kourtney Kardashian missed the opportunity to return to her ancestral homeland of Armenia early this week along with her sisters Kim and Khloe.
She says that she could have joined the trip but she really finds travelling with her three youngsters too stressful, without really saying that she does not expect much help from long-time partner Scott Disick.
On April 10, Kourtney posted on Instagram and said she was not able join her family on the ancestral journey to their late father Robert Kardashian’s beloved homeland, cites the Daily Mail.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star also added in her post that she wishes she was in Armenia with her sisters and admitted that she ended up not going to the country because it was making her too anxious with three young children.
But she did wish that she could have experienced the trip with her sisters. However, she is optimistic that they will all eventually travel back to Armenia together again in the near future.
Honored in Armenia
Her sisters Kim and Khloe had a blast while in Armenia as they were honored no less by the country’s prime minister. Kim came with rapper-husband Kanye West and their 21-month-old daughter North West.
On April 9, Kim posted on Twitter that she was honored to meet the Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan during their courtesy call to the country’s top official. The reality star related that the Armenian prime minister expressed to the Kardashians how proud the country is that they are very proud of being Armenians and that they have not forgotten their roots.
After the courtesy visit to the prime minister, the Kardashians attended the Armenian Genocide Memorial. Kim and Khloe laid flowers to show their respect during the ceremony where emotions ran high for their cousins, who conservatively wore black and were weeping during the occasion.
Having seen the images of what happened during the Armenian trip may have given Kourtney a good idea how much she missed in making the journey.
Making up for it with the kids
So while her sisters were in Armenia, Kourtney simply made up for it by spending a quiet day with her two children on April 11.
The “Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons” reality star was seen with her daughter Penelope and son Mason during an outing to a nearby mall.
The excursion saw Kourtney dressed in green jacket and denim-cut shorts, a low-cut top and black booties. She swept her hair to the side of her shoulder and was wearing sunglasses.
Her two children Mason and Penelope seem to be enjoying the field day with their mother that they almost forgot about their father Scott Disick and their four-month old sister Reign, who uncharacteristically was not with them during the midday excursion.
