The Atom to Meet Mechanical Genius Cisco Ramon in the Next Episode of ‘The Flash’

Even in movies, crossover of characters and universe has become a trend and both movie fans and televiewers just love the thought of having at least two different characters meet and finally share the same universe.

‘The Atom’ whose alter ego is Ray Palmer, played by Brandon Routh, has entered the universe of ‘The Flash’ in the series of the same title at CW, and thus far, the televiewers are loving it. The TV ratings can vouch for that.

In the upcoming episode 18 of “The Flash” to air on CW on April 14, Ray Palmer will finally meet mechanical genius Cisco Ramon, who is also the youngest scientist in the S.T.A.R. Labs where Barry Allen also became The Flash.

Costume upgrade

Carlos Valdez, the actor who plays the role of Cisco Ramon, disclosed that the next episode of “The Flash” will have Ray Palmer coming to Central City to get feedback on his The Atom suit including some possible upgrades.

Being a friend of Barry Allen, Palmer knows that Cisco is the perfect guy to go to. Ray Palmer is also the owner of Palmer Tech so the meeting between two tech-savvy characters is also one big reason for Cisco Ramon to be excited about.

Officially titled “All Star Team Up,” episode 18 will also see the introduction of metahuman character Brie Larvan, to be played by Emily Kinney, an alum of “The Walking Dead” TV series, notes Yahoo! Celebrity.

Valdez says that Cisco considers Ray Palmer an idol in the tech industry and also a role model for him. So having his idol soliciting assistance from a huge fan would be really surreal for his character. He added that Cisco’s mindset is that he would be able to contribute something to the suit of his idol so that would really be mind-blowing for the character.

Main plot for next episode

Larvan will be working to unleash robotic bees as part of a revenge plot against her former co-workers including Dr. Tina McGee, played by Amanda Pays.

Carlos Valdez also shares that he would have nothing to do with the robotic bees problem in the next episode of “The Flash” since Cisco has the same Indiana Jones snake complex when it comes to bees.

The actor revealed that there will be more crossovers in the show as it heads to its 23rd and final episode of its first season to air on May 23.

He cited in particular a plot in the future episode of “The Flash” where Cisco will be heading to Starling City. Valdez said that Cisco’s visit to the Starling City will be highlighted by his meeting with Black Canary.

the flash

He said that it will be the same as Cisco’s meeting with Ray Palmer because the character will not just be meeting his favorite celebrity but will also be able to work and help him. Above all, he gets to learn a lot from his heroes.
