Action speaks louder than words. With the way they have been showing their PDAs and also their seeming significance to each other’s lives, it would not take a genius to see that Austin Mahone and Becky G are into something romantic and special.
But their fans and the public were just waiting for something that would make it official like an announcement from either of them or both.
Austin Mahone and Becky G were not planning on doing just that yet perhaps but the two singers somehow confirmed that they’re officially a couple when they were spotted in the morning of April 7 locking lips at the Miami airport.
They both arrived at the terminal of the Miami airport onboard Austin Mahone’s Range Rover. They both stepped out of the vehicle, and started kissing. Apparently, the 18-year-old Becky G was catching a flight headed some place while the 19-year-old Austin was there to send her off.
After locking lips, they both bid farewell to one another as Becky heads straight to the terminal while Austin drove away from the airport, notes E! News.
Birthday celebration
Last week, Austin Mahone celebrated his 19th birthday and his special guest was no other than Becky G. The songstress even shared a few sweet pictures of them together in her Instagram account, including the two of them in a hot tub on a yacht.
Austin’s birthday celebration was held on a yacht overlooking an ocean on April 2. It was attended by mostly the closest friends of the “What About Love” singer.
Mahone even took a video of his birthday cake shaped like a basketball and posted it on his Instagram account. He also had fun riding a pair of jet-skis.
Exactly one month before, or on March 2, Becky G also marked her 18th birthday with Mahone as her special guest. Mahone also posted a cute photo of them on his Instagram. Becky on the other hand also posted another photo on her Instagram account showing her wearing a ‘Happy Birthday’ necklace while making a kiss face as Mahone smiles at the camera.
Past romance
Prior to hooking up with Becky G, Austin Mahone previously dated singer Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony. The two split in good terms last year and they have remained friends with one another.
They even took to social media in November last year to dispel rumors about their split, which was reportedly caused by one’s reputation getting the better of the other one.
One site claimed that the Fifth Harmony singer was only dating Mahone to become more famous which was the reason why they parted ways. In response to such allegations, Mahone posted on Twitter after the news went around and said that nothing like that even happened at all, also citing that it was the most ridiculous reason he has ever heard.
Cabello seconded Mahone’s tweet by also saying that there is no bad guy in their failed relationship. She added that nobody deserves any hate. Asked what was the real reason for their break-up, Cabello said that things just happen.
