Online discussion boards for the series have been buzzing with activity, and people love to discuss the many possibilities for what the producers might have in store. And now, we just got some information about the first three episodes of the season, giving fans a glimpse into what the show is bringing for them.
For example, we now know the names of the episodes, which are “Game On, Charles”, “Songs of Innocence” and “Sons of Experience”. The first episode could possibly be focused on the Liars trying to break free from A, while the names of the second and third episodes imply that their stories might be linked in a more direct way, possibly with a “long” episode split into two halves.
There have been reports that these two episodes are going to dig a bit deeper into A and his backstory, explaining how he came to steal the game in the first place. Some fans have pointed out that “Songs of Innocence and Experience” is actually the title of a poetry collection by William Blake, concerned with a person’s growth from a child into an adult. Considering the contents of the episodes, this kind of title actually makes perfect sense.
It’s also been claimed that one of the early episodes of the new season is finally going to reveal the true identity of A/Charles, and we’ve actually read reports that the character might already be known to the viewers. The way this was implied was rather cryptic and vague however, claiming that “we might have seen Charles already”, but not necessarily in the show’s world. Whatever that means, it should definitely set up an interesting reveal for the mysterious character.
Fans of the show have certainly not been idling trying to figure out who’s behind the persona, and so far there are several prominent theories. And the producers of the show definitely have the right approach when it comes to their fans. The show’s creator, Marlene King, revealed that she has been keeping an eye on those discussions, and she’s planning to send out autographed original copies of the show’s script to those who’ve already made a correct guess.
Which, as can be expected, has created a frenzy on discussion boards, with fans frantically trying to figure out who A might be, based on everything they’ve seen in the show so far. But of course, until the new season starts airing, we won’t really know who’s behind the unusual character.
