Revenge’s current fourth season has been quite dramatic so far, and there doesn’t seem to be any indication that things are going to slow down anytime soon – in fact, there is a good reason to believe that we’re going to see even more intense dramatic developments in the next episodes. The battle going on between Emily and Margaux has been stepped up significantly, as Emily has had to deal with problems caused by Margaux ever since Daniel passed away.
According to previews about the next episode, it will be focused on Jack and his son, after he was arrested at the end of the last episode. His current custody battle for his son will very likely be jeopardized by this, but we don’t know exactly how much. Margaux has been pretty active in going after Jack herself, which has been seen as a very negative move by many fans of the series, as she’s doing it in spite of the child’s own comfort and safety.
In the official episode preview, we could actually see Margaux getting hit by a car. While it’s known that the character won’t be killed off, we’ll likely see her going through some health complications in the near future as she has to deal with the car accident. What could the incident mean for her own baby though? That’s certainly something that could lead to very bad news for the next episode, although we’re not sure if the writers will decide to kill her baby like that.
We earlier saw Amanda Clarke’s baby surviving a fall down a set of stairs while she was still pregnant, but this of course doesn’t necessarily have to mean anything for the fate of Margaux. It’s possible that the writers may do something nasty with the character, but it’s also possible that the current incident is just a temporary setback that she’ll have to endure.
Emily and Victoria will also have a conversation in the new episode, after Emily discovers Victoria waiting for her in the living room of her own home. The two still have a lot of issues to settle between themselves, even though they’re being friendly for the time being, but Emily simply wants to warn Victoria to be careful about Margaux. She implies that Margaux has to be controlled or she will do it herself.
We don’t know if this conversation could have anything to do with the car crash that we saw, or if that was a completely unrelated plot development, but one thing is clear – Margaux has a lot coming for her from all angles, and the character is going to be put in a very difficult situation for the next episodes.
