Orange is the New Black Season 3’s premiere date is currently under the scanner as the makers are ready to air the next installment to the popular series. The Premiere episode sheds light on the upcoming season, where the characters have been portrayed in multiple layers of mystery.
Piper Kerman says that Season 3 portrays the backdrop of the characters’ history while highlighting their faith. She released this piece of information at a seminar conducted with 400 students at the University of Massachusetts.
Following the path of faith is quite common for people who suffer from Cancer and hence Piper’s announcement does not come as a surprise to many. The author further reveals that her ex-lover plans on releasing a book during the time she spent in jail. Cleary Wolters, who is characterized as Alex Vause in Orange is the New Black, is in question here.
“I am sure that my ex-lover’s book has quite a few fascinating stories to tell. She has an entirely different version to narrate as our experiences were very different within the same time frame. She was involved in narcotics trafficking and did much greater time in prison.” Kerman revealed.
Kerman is not the official scriptwriter for Orange is the New Black, but she is in charge of reviewing every character’s script before they are handed out to the actors.
Despite announcing her felony to the world, Piper is not entirely happy. “I regret those moments. I am extremely thrilled to have my readers understand and share the pain that I went through. The experience was thoroughly traumatic, and I wish no other soul has to endure the suffering that I had to experience.” She said.
Piper revealed that her memoir had upset family and friends, and she will hence quit writing. Orange is the New Black’s plot revolves around the life of a woman who served a great part of her life behind bars after being arrested for carrying around a suitcase filled with money collected off narcotics sale conducted by her ex-girlfriend.
