There have been lots of rumor going around regarding Miley Cyrus recently, with many sources claiming that the singer is pregnant. And while there has mostly been silence on her end about the issue, she apparently decided to break her quietness today – or at least that’s how some of her fans are interpreting one of her latest posts on Instagram.
In one picture, she’s making a “serious” face and is taking a selfie in the mirror. The rumors that were circulating the Web stated that she’s expecting a baby from Patrick Schwarzenegger. This came shortly after Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed his approval of the relationship himself, something which made the headlines briefly.
The controversial picture that led many fans to believe that the rumors about Miley’s pregnancy were false is one where she’s posing with Cheyne Thomas, apparently performing an ultrasound scan on her. Judging by the light-hearted nature of the picture and the fact that Cyrus nor Schwarzenegger have made any other remarks about the possibility of a pregnancy so far, we can probably safely assume that the whole rumor was false and there isn’t anything going on behind the scenes.
In other related news, Cyrus was also recently reported to have been attacking Selena Gomez, and there is apparently a pretty serious feud developing between the two. Although, as some have pointed out, the “feud” is mostly one-sided, as Gomez rarely if ever entertains Cyrus’ attempts to mock her, and is mostly concerned with her own life from what it seems.
Others have claimed that the photo in question (in which Selena Gomez can be seen in the background) wasn’t meant to provoke her fellow singer, but was rather a random post in which Cyrus was reminiscing of the old days.
It’s entirely possible that after making her feature for “Diary of a Dirty Hippie” for “V”, she simply didn’t notice that Gomez was in the background of the photo, and wasn’t intentionally trying to release a picture with her in it. Still, not all fans are convinced, and some seem to think that Cyrus is definitely trying to make subtle jabs at Gomez, and they’re mostly meant to be understood by her and not the general public, which is why there has been so much confusion on the topic.
In any case, Selena Gomez hasn’t made any comment on that situation, as most expected her to, and she hasn’t made any remarks on the possibility of Cyrus being pregnant either. There have been some minor rumors going around claiming that Gomez herself is pregnant, but those haven’t really been entertained much by most news publications, neither by any celebrities in the social circles of Gomez.
