Khloe Kardashian may have a third show in the E! network if and when she is officially taken in as Kelly Osbourne’s replacement in “Fashion Police.”
Kelly Osbourne decided to leave the show last week in the aftermath of an alleged racist remark by “Fashion Police” co-host Giuliana Rancic on the dreadlocks that “KC Undercover” star Zendaya wore during the Oscars night.
After an emotional outrage of Zendaya on Twitter, Giuliana Rancic eventually issued a public apology to the 18-year-old singer-actress, who accepted it with grace.
While Kelly Osbourne praised the gestures of both Zendaya and Giuliana on social media, even citing them as strong women, she eventually resigned from the show since she is a good friend of Zendaya.
A suitable replacement
With one host short, E! is now looking for a suitable replacement to fill in the shoes in the show of Kelly Osbourne.
But the network may no longer need to look very far as Khloe Kardashian expressed interest that she would like to do full-time work for the show, this time as a host.
The 30-year-old Khloe Kardashian is no longer a stranger to red carpet fashion commentary. She was one of several E! personalities that the network sent out to the Oscars for its pre-show coverage, reports People.
Khloe once did a stint on E! News from 2013 to 2014. That’s in addition to starring in her spinoff “Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons,” from the top-rating and very popular “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” TV series on the network.
It was reported recently that the TV show was renewed for four more seasons under a record $100 million deal with the Kardashians.
A vote for Khloe
Giuliana Rancic also seems to favor that the E! network gets Khloe Kardashian as replacement to Kelly Osbourne.
Khloe knows fashion and Giuliana is positive that the reality star is capable of holding her own when she is officially taken in as co-host of “Fashion Police.”
E! announced on February 27 that Kelly Osbourne has decided to leave the show to pursue other opportunities. The announcement no longer contained explanation on why Osbourne really left the show.
The 30-year-old Kelly Osbourne was a pioneer of “Fashion Police” when it was launched in 2010. She was with Giuliana Rancic, Joan Rivers and George Kotsiopoulos.
“Fashion Police” returned in January for its fourth season after the Golden Globes with Kathy Griffin as new co-host, replacing the deceased Joan Rivers.
E! has yet to confirm whether Khloe Kardashian will be the official replacement of Kelly Osbourne but from all indications, the reality star appears to have the inside track on the co-hosting job for “Fashion Police.” The show will return to the small screen on March 30.
