Four days before Justin Bieber officially turns 21 years old, his close friends John and Sammy Shahidi gave him something that a man his age would wish for next to a woman’s love.
Since the singer remains single to this day after breaking up with Selena Gomez late last year, his friends thought that a classic car will do.
Justin Bieber will be marking his 21st birthday on March 1 but his friends already gave him a fully-restored 1965 Lincoln Continental on February 26 that had the singer practically delighted to no end, reports MSN Entertainment.
Apart from being close friends, John and Sammy Shahidi are also Justin’s business partners in selfie-app business called Shots.
John Shahidi is an American entrepreneur, a software engineer, and the CEO of Shots. He is known as the ‘King of Twitter’ or ‘King of Social Media’ because of his social media influence. Sammy is his younger brother of John, who is also into the same business.
A $20,000 gift
The Shahidi brothers apparently spent $20,000 in getting the classic car fully restored over the past couple of months.
A source close to Justin Bieber said that the singer was so thrilled upon receiving the gift from his close friends that he spent much of the night of February 26 driving the 1965 Lincoln Continental up and down the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, revving up and putting the pedal to the metal on the classic car.
The Canadian heart throb was very elated with the classic car and profusely thanked his business partners for it.
The classic car actually resembles the one that is being shown in the opening credits of “Entourage” which happens to be one of Justin’s favorite TV shows. So upon seeing it right before his eyes, he nearly can’t believe it and was so thankful to John and Sammy Shahidi for it.
Preparing to be roasted
Part of his birthday celebration, the “As Long As You Love Me” singer will be starring in a Comedy Central Roast, wherein a number of comedians will poke fun at him. Kevin Hart will be among those who will roast Justin that night.
To show how sport and game he really is for his 21st birthday, Justin Bieber even asked long-time adversary Seth Rogen to participate in the show, which will air reportedly on March 30. Rogen previously called Justin a piece of crap.
The “Boyfriend” singer sent his personal invitation to the Canadian comedia via Twitter where he said to Seth that he wants the latter to roast him on his birthday. He said that he took the Twitter bashing before so he would appreciate it if Seth can do it again in person.
Justin said that he would have e-mailed Seth but Twitter is the only electronic communications that doesn’t scare him about the Canadian actor. He ended his tweet by hoping to see Seth at the roast.
