According to Directors Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning, Johnny Depp stages a comeback as Captain Jack Sparrow for the fifth consecutive time in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It is believed that Pirates of the Caribbean 5 will be shot exclusively in Australia while filming commences towards the beginning of February 2015.
Casting rumors claim that Orlando Bloom returns as Will Turner while Christopher Waltz fills the shoes of a new pirate. Walt Disney Pictures was rumored to be in talks with the Australian Government regarding a high-budget movie – rumored to be the remake of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It is, however, now rumored that Pirates of the Caribbean 5 will be shot there instead.
The authorities were rumored to offer a sum of $21.6 Million for David Fincher’s film remake while Walt Disney Pictures is believed to be engrossed in discussions to increase the fund inflow.
Even though, the film’s plot is strictly under cover, we know for sure that Barbossa and Jack Sparrow stage a comeback in the upcoming installment.
Keeping in mind the mythical nature of the series, viewers can expect a mysterious yet notable character to make an entry. We might even get to witness Poseidon in action. With Pirates of the Caribbean, we can never know for sure!
Disney plans on focusing on the storyline of Pirates of the Caribbean 5 as the fourth plot was not as strong as viewers might have anticipated. Hence, prepare to be hooked onto the upcoming plot.
We are yet to be notified of the actual release date of the movie, although, fans are advised to be prepared to witness much fanfare before that happens! According to current estimates, POC 5 is waiting to be released sometime within mid 2016 – early 2017. We will keep you posted.
