Assassin’s Creed is becoming one of the most popular video game franchise’s right next to Grand Theft Auto. Since fans of the series know there is a new game coming along at some point, it is hard to curb the excitement, especially when there is information leaked online. Assassin’s Creed Victory is not the only game that Ubisoft is planning to release this year, but it is one that is anticipated and will be watched like a hawk until the day it can be purchased.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity did not get a very well reviewed section in many gaming magazines and websites, but the hope is that will change this time around. For the sake of the fans, many are hoping that there will be extra work put into this installment. Since it is considered a video game franchise, it should be Ubisoft’s number one priority to get fans back to the game. That is going to be a tough task.
With that being said, fans were probably hoping there would be more to talk about the game, but that does not appear to be the case. Recently, some online sources reportedly found a release date leaked online, but Ubisoft has yet to confirm that news. Most gamers are aware that the E3 conference is something quite large, they are expecting to see some information about the new game at that point. According to a few sources, that is where Ubisoft will break the silence about the new game.
For the most part, video game fans flock to the E3 conference to see new games and learn more about some of the most anticipated games of the year. We do know that the newest version of the game will be called “Assassin’s Creed Victory” and that it will be set in Victorian Era London. Gamers are just going to be gathered around the internet hoping for news that puts the game in their hands sooner than later.
Ubisoft is not the only developer that has failed at a game in recent years. One of the most talked about is the fact that Mass Effect 4 was a total flop and that Bioware was hoping they were going to recover from that. Ubisoft is sitting in the same boat, at least with the Assassin’s Creed franchise, at least at this point. Fans sites have been posting trailers and other game-play footage, just to keep the buzz around the game nice and loud for consumers.
