The 2015 Ford Fiesta is Sporty, Versatile and Intelligently-Equipped

Just by the mere look at the 2015 Ford Fiesta, people would know that it is easy and fun to drive. And once they get to drive, they would also realize how a good road performer the 2015 Fiesta is.

What’s more, the 2015 Ford Fiesta is sporty, versatile and also intelligently-equipped for a compact vehicle.

And of course, nothing can beat its fuel economy highlighted by its superb fuel efficiency ratings of 28 miles per gallon for city driving and 36 miles per gallon for highway driving under the current five-cycle testing methodology.

The 2015 Ford Fiesta comes in seven different variants, namely: the S Sedan, the S Hatch, the SE Sedan, the SE Hatch, the Titanium Sedan, the Titanium Hatch, and the ST.

As a Ford vehicle, the 2015 Fiesta comes as a standard front-wheel drive with the option for either a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic transmission.

The variants come in two different engine options. With the exception of the top-of-the-line ST model, all the six trim levels are powered by a 1.6-liter 16-valve I-4 engine capable of giving off 120 horsepower at 6,350 rpm.

The ST, on the other hand, has maximum power of 197 horsepower at 6,000 rpm with its 1.6-liter 16-valve Ti-VCT Turbocharged EcoBoost I-4 engine. This first ever three-cylinder engine from Ford has actually been named in 2014 as the international engine of the year.

The EcoBoost engine feature is an option not only on the ST but also on the SE Sedan and SE Hatch models. It actually makes the 2015 Ford Fiesta an earth-friendly vehicle because of minimal emission.

Crisp and nicely-proportioned interior

The 2015 Fiesta is really a show-stopper on the outside with its very sleek hood and character lines, grille, headlamps, and optional fog lamps and trim.

In terms of what it has to offer inside, it has very crisp and nicely-proportioned interior with spacious accommodations that have been designed for exceptional comfort and style.

Ford vehicles are never short in infotainment and it also shows in the 2015 Ford Fiesta with smart features like the 6.5-inch color touch screen Sync with MyFord Touch, and SiriusXM satellite radio among others. It also comes with optional features such as rear decklid spoiler and a leather-wrapped shift knob with chrome insert among others.

It has advanced user-friendly technologies all over its interiors to ensure smooth, pleasurable and hassle-free driving and riding experience.

In terms of safety, the 2015 Ford Fiesta is also a very sturdy five-passenger car because of the safety cage made from reinforced boron steel that surrounds both the driver and passengers. That’s in addition to other safety features including seven airbags, anti-lock braking system, the pull-drift compensation incorporated in the electric power steering for better road tracking even in tough road conditions, among a host of others.

  1. Just wanted to point out a typo or error. While the Fiesta ST is indeed outfitted with a 197 hp 1.6 L I-4 engine, this article claims it is a three-cylinder engine. That is not correct (and in fact “I-4” is the clue, indicating “Inline four cylinders”).

There is a three-cylinder optional engine available. It’s a turbocharged 1.0 L I-3, generating up to 123 hp, and that’s the big change for the EcoBoost option on the SE models that make them more economical. This is the engine that won the award.

Both the ST model and the 1.0 L engines are called “EcoBoost” models because that is the term Ford uses for turbocharging. Even though they are different engines.

Very nice read though. Thanks for posting!
