New Report Suggests that Camera Installed on Michael Schumacher’s Ski Helmet Caused the Accident in the French Alps!

Nearly fourteen months after his catastrophic ski accident in the French Alps, former Formula One champion Michael Schumacher has yet to show positive signs that he will fully recover from his sorry medical state.

Early this month, there was a report that Michael Schumacher and his family have reportedly spent $15.3 million or £10 million for his hospitalization and care expenses since the tragic ski accident in the French Alps late in December 2013.

The amount would have really meant nothing to the family if only Michael showed signs of getting back into full recovery but it seems that it is very unlikely considering the degree of head injuries he sustained during the accident.

While his family remains hopeful of a full recovery especially his wife Corinna and their 17-year-old daughter Gina Maria and 15-year-old son Nick, doctors have been telling them that there is no guarantee that their patriarch would ever get back to his old self again.

The cause of the accident

As the media has been always on the lookout for possible positive news that may come out from the Schumacher family, everyone was hoping for the best.

But since the news has been few and far between, some resourceful media entities decided to look instead on what caused the horrific ski accident in the French Alps.

Witnesses who saw Schumacher before his accident said that he was an above-average skier but he was not as fast in the slopes as he is in the race track. He was just skiing at normal speed, details Venture Capital Post.

Picking up from a report by CBS News, the site detailed that before Michael went skiing into the slopes, a camera was installed on his ski helmet, just like it is done to their helmets in F1 racing, to document his flight.

Apparently, the camera might have moved out of place while he was navigating the slopes and that affected his vision leading to the catastrophic accident. But only Schumacher can attest to the veracity or the details of his accident, so the theory remains only a theory at this point.

Ski enthusiasts say that the accident could have easily happened to anyone while in the slopes and it just unfortunate that it happened to the former Formula One champion racer.

All-out support from the family

Despite a not-so-promising prognosis on Michael’s condition, the family remains hopeful as always even if it means waiting for a miracle.

The family does not care how much money they will spend on Michael for as long as it improves his condition. In fact, Schumacher’s father has already moved to his house in Lake Geneva so that he could also look after him along with Michael’s family.

Corinna is also a picture of strength despite the slow recovery of Michael. An insider said that she has been talking to her husband for hours on end with the hope that he will finally talk back to her. Latest word indicated that Michael can already recognize the voices of his family members but he still can’t talk, sit up, nor walk.
