If you were reading both of their names in the same article recently, that is because they were married in a private ceremony on February 4th at their home in Los Angeles. The couple has been engaged sine 2013 and were planning to be married pretty much since the beginning.
The 51 year old actor has been around in the movie world for a very long time, acting in movies like the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Rolling Stones, Ed Wood, Dead Man, Nick of Time, Donnie Brasco, The Rum Diary and many more. For Amber Heard, the list is a little shorter, but mostly because she is only 28 years old. She started her acting career back in in the day on Friday Night Lights with Billy Bob Thorton.
She made major waves back in 2008 while acting in movies like Pineapple Express and Never Back Down. Shortly after that the awards started to pile up and the bigger movie roles started to move in as well. It was after those two movies that she was in John Carpenter’s “The Ward” with Nicolas Cage and Johnny Depp in “The Rum Diary”. She also has roles in three other movies, including 3 Days To Kill, Machete Kills, and Paranoia. She is a supporter for Gay Rights and the Habitat for Humanity.

The private ceremony was this month and even though it was small, there was plenty of buzz about it afterward. Right after the wedding, many would expect that the two head off to Johnny Depp’s island, but they were both back to work. Heard made her way to London for Fashion Week and that is where the ring made its debut.
Last week, Heard displayed her new diamond and gold wedding ring during the Alice in Wonderland-themed window display in London. This was the first time that she was seen in public with the ring on and it is quite the ring. As of right now, Heard is working on her dancing so she can star in a movie about ballet along with Eddie Redmaybe and Johnny Depp is still riding the waves that came with “The Sexiest Man Alive” title and has been busy with a new movie about Whitey Bulger.
