Despite rumors that Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna have broken up after the actor was seen partying with a model on February 7, the two actually spent Valentine’s Day partying together at OAK and Up & Down nightclubs at downtown New York City.
It was likewise reported that the couple also watched a secret Valentine’s Day concert of Paul McCartney where they were seen as very sweet with one another and appear to be so much in love.
Six days after Valentine’s Day, Rihanna turned 27 years old. To show how important the singer is to him, Leonardo DiCaprio actually helped throw Rihanna a surprise but nonetheless star-studded birthday party, reports Yahoo! Celebrity.
The birthday celebration was held in a private home in Beverly Hills that drew in attendance a lot of A-list celebrities including Mick Jagger, Beyonce, Jay Z, Russell Simmons, and models Naomi Campbell, Angela Martini, Tommy Chiabara, and Richie Akiva, among many others naturally.
There were a lot of other celebrities that joined Rihanna’s birthday celebration and she was quite elated that her rumoured boyfriend really put his heart into the preparations to make her feel special and happy too.
A good time that is worth it
The good time and partying for Rih Rih actually lasted until 4 am of February 21. An insider also detailed how Rihanna came into the party dressed in a plunging dress and kept her dark hair down and slicked back.
The “FourFiveSeconds” singer was also surprised upon seeing for herself the leopard print three-tier cake. Rihanna was right next to Naomi Campbell when she blew the 27 candles on her cake.
Rihanna had a good time during her 27th birthday celebration that was so worth it and she profusely thanked Leonardo for helping and putting up together a surprise party for her, with the help of her friends of course.
Coming from failed relationships
The common denominator between the two stars is that they just came from failed relationships. DiCaprio just split from model-girlfriend Toni Garrn last year while Rihanna broke up with rapper-boyfriend Drizzy Drake late last year after an on-again off-again relationship and stormy relationship with Chris Brown the year before.
Rihanna was also recently linked to Richie Akiva, Leonardo DiCaprio’s good friend but it seems that it was not true so the media did not buy it.
However, an insider claims that Rihanna and Leonardo spent Valentine’s Day together so the two may just be playing the media and the public on the true status of their relationship.
