There will be another reason for Kim Kardashian to play up the divorce issue against rapper husband Kanye West.
Apparently, the reality star is now getting worried that Kanye West is slowly turning her into his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose and the recent public display of affection by her rapper-husband in high-profile events reinforces that notion.
Kim Kardashian was reportedly horrified when Kanye West grabbed her on the red carpet during the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on February 8, groped her butt and kissed her in the mouth, reports Yahoo! News.
It may have looked sweet in the eyes of the public, but to Kim, it was reminiscent of a similar maneuver pulled off by Kanye with his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose when they were still dating back in 2009.
A source close to the couple said that the Kim and Kanye had a huge fight after Grammys because Kim felt that her husband was treating her like her ex. Kim Kardashian felt that Kanye wants another version of Amber Rose in her and she despises that.
Rivals then, still rivals today
In terms of popularity, Kim Kardashian is obviously notches above Amber but the reality star in her always comes out to emphasize her domination of the fledgling singer-rapper.
Kim and Amber have been rivals after the reality star and Kanye West started dating in 2012 when Amber dubbed Kim a home-wrecker.
Kim saw Kanye’s red carpet smooch during the Grammys as quite cheap and tacky and although they already have a 20-month-old daughter in North, she still feels that her husband is trying to compare her to his ex.
The source added that Kanye has been trying to influence every detail of Kim’s style and behaviour to make it similar to Amber.
A clear giveaway to this notion is the fact that Kanye recently asked Kim to shave her head. Obviously, that’s a big no to the reality star as she really wants a full head of hair compared to the skin-head that Amber Rose is.
Kim also felt bad for the commotion caused by Kanye during the awards itself when he stormed the stage as Beck was making his acceptance speech for the Album of the Year award. The reality star attended the event just to enjoy and not be in the middle of another controversy that her husband has apparently whipped up yet again.
Heating up
Aside from the internal squabble between Kim and Kanye over the issue, things have been heating up between the Kardashians and Amber Rose this week after the singer hit at Kylie Jenner, Kim’s 17-year-old stepsister, and called her a baby.
Amber also bashed the 25-year-old Tyga for dating Kylie, making it sound like the guy has poor taste on women.
Khloe Kardashian stepped into the row and Khloe and Amber began engaging in a war of words on Twitter. In the process, Amber even called Kim Kardashian a whore.
