Toyota designers and engineers have created the world’s first giggling car by unveiling a specially-designed Toyota Yaris during the Red Nose Day celebration in London on February 16.
The specially-designed and innovative Toyota Yaris is a very ticklish car which kind of giggles when touched at sensitive areas, reports Yahoo! News.
Also carrying a special plate number that reads “TICK LME,” the special edition Toyota Yaris reacts to touch by lighting up and flashing its headlights and indicators. It also sprays water from the windscreen washer fluid sprout and moves as if it was chuckling.
The hatchback also comes with a recorded laugh as put together by Red Nose Day legend Lenny Henry.
An innovative fundraiser
Toyota Great Britain (GB) President Matt Harrison said that the special edition Yaris was the first of its kind car from the Japanese carmaker. The company decided to come up with a special edition of the Yaris with the aim of raising money for the Red Nose Day.
The creation of the world’s first ticklish and giggling car is recorded on the fly-on-the-wall documentary which is being showcased and distributed by Toyota in its various social media channels.
For his part, Mr. Tickle from the Mr. Men series, who officially launched the red Toyota hatchback as the celebrity consultant for the fundraiser, said that he was tickled pink to be part of the innovative fundraising project.
He said that he was able to help the Toyota designers and engineers by adding tickle-points to all those hard-to-reach places using his long arms and tickly fingers, eliciting huge laughter from the crowd.
