There are businesses made from just speculating about the newest iPhone models for months before it even shows up on the radar. Since Apple usually keeps their lips tight about new products that are coming to the market, it is hard to get any sort of confirmation before the company wants to speak up. Apple is very good at making the buzz surrounding the new products and all that does give the sales a boost when it is time for consumers to upgrade.
Last year, consumers got to see the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, which is the first time that the company came to the market with two models at the same time. Typically, the main model is released with an “S” version released a little while later. Apple has been waiting to get into the phablet market in order to take on the popular Galaxy Note series from Samsung. The iPhone 6 Plus was developed just like that.
Now that the sales numbers are no longer on fire for the sixth series of the iPhone, it is time to start talking about the Apple iPhone 7. As usual, there is plenty of rumors online and speculation that has been buzzing by loyal fans that have long wish lists of features they are hoping to see when the new model shows up. According to at least one online source, the Apple iPhone 7 is going to come with a 4.7-inch display, for the main model and a larger display for the “Plus” model.
At first, many where not sure if Apple was going to release the Plus model each year, but sources are claiming that the Apple iPhone 7 Plus will be coming with a 5.5-inch display. As mentioned before, these are just rumors and Apple has not commented at all about the new gadgets. Just like most of the other Apple iPhone’s, they will be made from aluminum and appear to be very thin to hold onto. One source claims the Apple iPhone 7 will come in silver, gold, slate gray, rose gold and copper.
There is reportedly a new patent out there that claims that Apple could be developing a new type of display, which Apple calls “sideways displays”. Sources are guessing that this is the same type of display that can be found on the Galaxy Note Edge. With that being said, the Apple iPhone 7 could feature a display that seemingly wraps around the edges of the phone. Right now, consumers can expect to see the Apple iPhone 7 released around the end of summer, this year.
