Taylor Swift, Kanye West Bury the Hatchet; Set to Collaborate in New Music

Taylor Swift and Kanye West have buried the hatchet of the 2009 infamous incident when Kanye stormed the stage while Taylor was making her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video during the MTV Video Music Awards that year.

Kanye took the mic from Taylor and told her and everyone that he thinks that Beyonce has the best female video of all time, much to the surprise of Beyonce who was around, and the anger of many fans that solicited boos to the rapper.

Kanye has since extended multiple apologies to Taylor Swift and her fans. During the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on February 8, it has become clear that all is already forgiven and almost forgotten as Taylor and Kanye were talking and taking photos of each other.

It turns out that the two were not just reminiscing their infamous feud in yet another awards night where they were in that night, but Taylor and Kanye were actually talking of possibly collaborating or working together and come up with new music, reports Yahoo! News.

Ready to collaborate

Kim Kardashian’s husband confirmed that he and Taylor Swift are definitely collaborating for a new music. Kanye made the announcement during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest on the latter’s radio show “On Air” on Sirius XM.

The rapper said that Taylor really wants to get in the studio and he confirmed that they are really going to go in. He added that any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, and fan base like Tayor Swift, he is willing to work with anytime.

Kanye also added that he does not discriminate and that there is no elitism of music in him. He also said that he does not look on how many Grammys or how much rating that the other artist is getting on an album because what he wants is to come up with a new and good music.

He also opined that basically every person loves music regardless of whether they love hip-hop, alternative, country among other type of sounds.

Kanye also explained that if he could get involve in giving people any type of energy or advice in the studio regardless of whoever they are whether she may be Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jay Z, Beck, or whoever, for as long as they are reciprocal with what he can offer, he is very willing to get involved.

Apologetic to Beck

When asked by Ryan Seacrest about his stage antics during the Grammys at about the time when Beck was giving his acceptance speech for the Album of the Year award, Kanye said that his intention was only to joke around.

Kanye also apologized to Beck, saying his post-event interview did not come across right as he meant. He considered it as a mis-wording on his part.

He explained that when he said about respecting artistry, it came off the wrong way. He compared his outburst to seeing a chiropractor for a little niggle and how a person feels better after the fact. Obviously, Beck is one of the most respected artists and respects artistry too, the rapper said.
