The Sims 4 was release last year and just like all of the other games before it, was a huge success with gamers that love to play the real-life styled games. The game was released in September for Microsoft Windows with a Mac version of the game coming out next week. At this time, there are no plans for a console release of the game. When the game hit the stores, it sold more than 400,000 units in the first four days and more than 1 million by November.
For those that bought the game, there is an update ready for download that adds a new dimension to the game. As if The Sims 4 is not real-life enough, according to Electronic Arts, the Sims are about to pursue their dream jobs, start their own business, or just find a job in general. This is the second expansion pack for The Sims 4 and it is called “Get to Work”. The new content will give gamers three more career options, skills and even the chance to start a business.
If you would like to become a doctor, in the game, then you will be able to go down that path. If you would rather curb the crime rate and help solve mysteries, then you will be able to go down the path to police detective, but first, you must start out at the bottom, just like in real life.
Working your way up to detective or even police chief from cadet is not going to be an easy task, but one you can try out in the new content. The Sims 4 jobs do not stop there, you can also become a scientist so you can help invent new things that can help The Sims out. The new content will make The Sims think about where they want to be in the game and whether they want to be on the good side, or the evil side.
One of the more interesting parts of the expansion is going to be the retail business option. You can through together a bakery, or maybe a clothing store, and then go through all of the processes that make a business. Hiring employees as your business grows and even expanding your store with the new Build Mode. If none of those things are up your alley, then you can just take yourself away from the “reality” of it and become an alien hunter, learning along the way which Sims are actually aliens.
