343 Industries Planning to Re-Launch ‘Halo 3: ODST’ to Make Up for Lingering Stability Issues on ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’

He confirmed that the issues and problems that have hounded the game was indeed a blackeye for 343 Industries but is something that they do not intend to hide from. O’Connor explained that the problem with The Master Chief Collection is that it actually involves five different game engines with five different studios working on it. 343 Industries was only there to put it together so the end result was not just outrageous but chaos too.

But “Halo 5: Guardians” is a completely different story since it is being made by a different development team working on a singular product, O’Connor added.

He likewise mentioned that the game was built from the ground up using new technology rather than a collection of past games that started coming out in 2001 and bundled together for release in 2014. The beta version of “Halo 5: Guardians” will also show that it does not have the same problems or issues as those being experienced by “Halo: The Master Chief Collection.”

  1. Halo 5 beta just had other problems… like 15 minute wait times for matchmaking, random disconnects, and fill failures loading. I know it was just a beta, but some of these are the exact same problems Halo TMCC have had. I really hope they fix them, but I don’t be preordering any games ever again after the quality of the last few I’ve received.

  2. 343 should of clearly been “Less” generous in giving all those games plus the TV series for the price of ONE game and just launched the remakes separately.

Halo 5 is a single game and nothing whatsoever to do with this collection.
