2017 Jaguar F-Pace Prominently Features Jaguar Land Rover’s Current Design Language!

The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace may be the first SUV from British luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover but the vehicle has all the telltale signs of the automaker’s current design language.

Its styling is heavily inspired by the C-X17 line of Jaguar concept cars that were presented way back in 2013. With the overwhelming response to the 2014 Jaguar C-X17 concept, the British luxury carmaker knew it had the perfect prototype on its hands and thus developed the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace from there, details Top Speed.

The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace was officially introduced in September last year during the Frankfurt International Motor Show and then again at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

As a 2017 model, the SUV will come out of the retail markets in the second half of this year, and is bound to give the Porsche Macan a strong competition in the already competitive segment.

The F-Pace is powered by a series of high-powered engines which the company hopes to use in turning the vehicle as the perfect springboard to penetrate and establish a niche in the increasingly competitive SUV market in the US and Europe, as well as in many parts of the world.

A completely unique look

Jaguar’s touch on the F-Pace has given the SUV a completely unique look. The headlights of the SUV carry the signature ‘J’ Blade design that is found on the 2017 Jaguar XE and the 2016 Jaguar XF sedans.

Even the gaping grill and the large air intakes were adapted from Jaguar’s lineup of superb sedans.

The pair of side gills that extend over the front doors and an inverted crease in the bodywork gives the SUV an agile stance.

The interior of the F-Pace shares plenty of similarities from both the XE and the XF, particularly on the aspect of luxury and refinement. The luxurious feel is defined by the range of contemporary options available for the SUV.

In addition, the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace has plenty of space for an SUV that it can comfortably seat five passengers including the driver. The leather sports seats are designed with comfort and support in mind with 14 different adjustments including heating and cooling functions.

A review after a test drive

Meanwhile, Automobile has made a review of the S variant of the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace following a test drive of the vehicle in Sweden recently.

Jaguar hosted a media event at its Revi facility, a winter testing site that Jaguar shares with its sister company Land Rover. Every vehicle built by the English companies comes through the Revi facility at some point during its development to get shaken down over 35 miles of circuits and skid pads carved into an ice-covered lake.

During the test runs, the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace was discovered to be splendidly good in terms of performance for a vehicle considered more for moving people.

As the first SUV vehicle of Jaguar, the 2017 F-Pace will be the British luxury carmaker’s ticket to growing its luxury vehicle catalog, with reports that at least two more SUVs are now in the works – the E-Pace and the J-Pace.

Motoring enthusiasts and experts believe that the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace will quickly become Jaguar Land Rover’s best-seller once it starts coming out of the motoring retail markets beginning in the second half of this year.

As of the end of last year, Jaguar has sold 16,000 units in the US while its sister company, the Land Rover, shipped 51,000 vehicles to America.

It is expected that the arrival of the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace would help turn things around for Jaguar Land Rover, particularly in the luxury SUV market in the US.

The F-Pace derived its name from one of William Lyons’ maxims about the car brand he co-founded. He said back then that all Jaguar models had to have grace, pace, and space, and the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace obviously adheres to such.

When Jaguar Land Rover unveiled the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace during the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September last year, critics and enthusiasts were in unison in saying that its key rival in the segment is the Porsche Macan.
