Andrew Stoy, Digital Editor of Autoweek, also echoes the observations of Reynal on the F-Pace, citing that the SUV wants for nothing in power and handling.
Stoy said that for its price of over $60,000, the vehicle is reasonable considering its interior space and amenities and some options thrown into it.
Autoweek Road Test Editor Jake Lingeman says that he would take the Jaguar F-Pace over the X5, the GLE, and the Q5, citing that the SUV has a very slick profile. He added that the only SUV that can perhaps match the looks of the F-Pace is the Porsche Cayenne.
Lingeman also noted that the 380-horsepower V6 engine pushes the lightweight SUV with gusto which is attributable to its aluminum-intensive body that also results in speed and agility.
The road test editor said that with the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, the British luxury carmaker has put itself on a serious roll and he does not see the car manufacturer stopping anytime soon.
With the advent of the bold-looking 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, the British luxury carmaker has finally joined the ranks of fellow players including Porsche, Maserati, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz in the highly-competitive SUV market.
Jaguar may have taken its time in finally breaking ground in the luxury SUV market but the company sure knows how to make an entrance.
