2017 Ford Bronco to Come Equipped with High-Tech Features and Ideal for Off-Road Use!

Ford Motor Company has yet to confirm whether there will be a 2017 Ford Bronco or not following the dismissal recently of the 2016 Ford Bronco rumors as a two-year hoax.

The 2016 Ford Bronco rumors started on April 1, 2014 and fell on an April Fool’s Day. It went on for two years, finally ending a few months ago when critics and fans realized that it would be impossible for the American car manufacturer to release a 2016 model year of a vehicle with less than six months to go remaining in the year.

Subsequently, the 2017 Ford Bronco rumors ensued but it comes in a better position than the erstwhile 2016 Ford Bronco speculations since Ford Motor Company made an announcement in February this year that it would be releasing four SUVs in the next four years beginning in 2017.

The iconic Bronco brand is likely to be one of those. But the mystery is which year would the American carmaker released the vehicle, which leads to speculations for a possible 2017 Ford Bronco, a 2018 Ford Bronco, a 2019 Ford Bronco, and a 2020 Ford Bronco.

Most of the critics are saying that the 2020 Ford Bronco is likely but that does not stop fans from speculating that there could be a 2017 Ford Bronco.

The majority of the rumored features and specifications of the 2017 Ford Bronco are hand-me-downs from the 2016 Ford Bronco rumors.

However, there is are a couple of speculated specs saying that the 2017 Ford Bronco shall come out already equipped with high-tech features and gadgetry. In addition, the vehicle shall be very ideal for off-road use, reports USA Cars Today.

A most-loved truck brand

Critics believe that the interest on the 2017 Bronco comes from the fact that the Bronco is actually the most loved truck brand of the American car manufacturer.

Since the reports came out that Ford Motor Company is planning on releasing a new Bronco model, the interest on the legendary truck has not diminished at all, especially among American car owners.

Although Ford has yet to confirm the reports now spreading online regarding the 2017 Ford Bronco, reports are saying that the vehicle shall be taking the market by storm with a modern-day SUV. The new Bronco shall reportedly challenge all its competitors in the highly competitive SUV segment offering comfort, elegance, and modern-day technological advancements.

The 2017 Ford Bronco shall reportedly have a boxy design which would really be elegant in nature and its exterior appearance will catch the eyes of age-group automobile lovers, notes Handi Tech.

Likely to be based on the Ford Ranger platform

The last official Ford announcement regarding the Bronco was back in the North American International Auto Show 2004 in Detroit, Michigan where it showcased a concept of the brand, resembling like a cross between a jeep and an SUV.

Then in February this year, the company announced that a new crossover is, in fact, in the works. The vehicle would be based on the same platform as the Ford Ranger, and it would compete head-on with the Wrangler and the upcoming Trailblazer.

According to critics, the new model is actually the 2017 Ford Bronco, after all, the American carmaker has a crossover currently based on the Ranger and it is the Ford Everest.

This means that the US model of the car, the Bronco, will most likely be based on the same platform as well as a decent number of parts.

2015 Ford Bronco

The vehicle shall be using a body on frame chassis and that it will be built in the same factory side by side with the Ranger.

The exterior of the car is deliberately primitive and brutal. It will have a square shape as if it is cut from a single piece of metal featuring large round xenon headlights, squeezed onto the sides of the rough grille lattice in the middle of which is flaunted the inscription ‘Bronco.’
