Toyota have been generally very successful with the Hilux on the market, and we expect that the model is going to enjoy many more years of popularity if they keep up the good work and pull off the next releases right.
Many people love the Hilux and pay a lot of attention to new releases in this line, and Toyota have generally been trying to keep everyone’s interest in the model by making the right kinds of changes.
This is evident in the new 2016 edition as well, which adds more of the various features that people loved in the last versions, and we expect that Toyota would continue this trend for some time in the future too.
It would make sense, as they seem to be pretty big fans of the old motto “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. The Hilux is obviously very popular on the market and many people love the way it looks and works, so it wouldn’t be a very smart move for Toyota to completely throw the design out of the window and come up with something new at this point. They should just keep building on top of the current design and add more to it in the future, and that should guarantee a lot of longevity for the Hilux.
