According to Nick Senior, managing director of Subaru Australia, the WRX is already regarded as a vehicle with great specifications but the latest additions to the 2016 variant make it the best ever in terms of performance, value and features equations.

Because of these features and specifications of the 2016 Subaru WRX, the sedan is actually selling at levels not seen since the 1990s.

What makes the 2016 Subaru WRX even more enticing for prospective buyers is that the vehicle has very little price difference compared to its predecessor despite the addition of the latest active safety features. The same applies to both the WRX and the WRX STI models.

The entry-level WRX model features a new 6.2-inch touchscreen while the premium WRX model has the 7-inch touchscreen which also has voice recognition capability and the Pandora smartphone app integration.

The price of the WRX base model remains unchanged, but the WRX premium is higher by $900. The STI model gets a $500 cut while the STI premium model gets a $400 increase for the model with no spoiler, and $700 for those that already features a rear spoiler.
