Despite the clamor of Subaru car owners in the US, the Japanese carmaker will not be coming up with the five-door hatchback model for its upcoming 2016 WRX and WRX STI editions when the sports sedans finally rolls out to the American motoring retail markets soon.
It seems like the decision of the Japanese carmaker has something to do with production schedules and timetable for its other vehicle lines.
As the 2016 Subaru WRX and WRX STI editions will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Japan, the carmaker would be under pressure to meet the production demands for the Forester, the Outback, the XV Crosstrek, and the Levorg if it will still produce the hatchback model of its WRX STI sports sedan.
