2016 Subaru WRX Aiming for Safety above All, Won’t Compromise Power!

What can interested buyers expect to be asked to pay? The base manual model is offered at $38,990, same as the previous entry in the line. The CVT costs $40,990, while the Premium version of the manual model is offered at $44,890.

It’s worth noting that the Premium edition has seen an increase in price, one of nearly $1,000, while the STI model is $500 more expensive than its predecessor. All in all, it does look like Subaru are trying to retain more or less the same price point across the line though.

We don’t know what the exact reason for those price increases has been, although we can guess that the company has implemented some additional features that set these cars apart from previous entries in their lines by a significant margin.

The most expensive edition is the STI Premium with an added spoiler at the back, which comes at $55,690. It’s actually a pretty good offer, all things considered, and those who don’t insist on having a spoiler on their cars can get the spoiler-free edition for $55,390. This is $400 more than the previous version, but with everything we’ve described so far, it does look like the car is worth its money, especially for those looking for solid performance without having to worry too much about their safety.
