2016 Ford Bronco to Usher the Curtain Call on the Raptor Series of the American Carmaker!

When reports about the 2016 Ford Bronco first came out in April 2014, it also brought along the hype that the truck-like SUV would put an end to the American carmaker’s very popular Raptor series.

The Ford Raptor is a well-loved pickup truck brand that has seen better days after the American auto manufacturer released the F-150 pickup trucks in the 90s.

In fact, according to a report by USA Torque News, the 2016 Ford Bronco will replace the outgoing Raptor because the upcoming vehicle will be built on the Ford Atlas platform.

Using the platform means that the carmaker will be utilizing advanced and lighter materials in the assembly line that would ensure excellent durability for a reliable all-terrain vehicle.

The Ford F-150 was also built using the same platform which is the reason why rumors started swirling around that the 2016 Bronco will share similar features with the SUV pickup truck.

The new Bronco will reportedly be using aluminum and high-strength steel parts to make it both resilient and light.

With all the specifications and features disclosed about the 2016 Ford Bronco, one could not help but believe that the vehicle may indeed be real because it is just too impossible for someone to make all those things up.

While the latest report on the 2016 Ford Bronco is a welcome relief to those who has been longing for the vehicle to become a reality, the problem lies on the fact that Ford Motor Company has yet to make a statement or pronouncement since April 1, 2014 to either confirm or deny the existence of the 2016 Ford Bronco.

A rebirth of the brand

The 2016 Ford Bronco will reportedly usher the rebirth of the brand last seen back in 1994. Thus, the emergence of the rumored vehicle is a welcome development for the iconic brand, notes the Christian Post.

Accordingly, the vehicle will sport chrome bumpers to add to the vehicle’s masculine aura, as well as new taillights and LED headlights.

The 2016 Bronco shall also feature a spacious and comfortable interior with massive seats and wide leg room to accommodate five passengers.

The backseats will be roomy enough for children, their pets, and other gears. In addition, it will have leather features, a wide LCD screen, and a high-tech audio system to go with the vehicle’s MyFord infotainment system.

Back in circulation

After a brief hiatus in the rumor mills, the 2016 Ford Bronco is back again in circulation, with speculations hinting that the American carmaker would likely make an announcement about the vehicle in the upcoming Detroit International Auto Show to be held in January next year.

It is possible that Ford will put up either an actual concept of the 2016 Ford Bronco during the auto show or the carmaker will just showcase concept photos to show to people how the vehicle will look like both inside and out.

However, until Ford Motor Company makes an official statement or announcement about the current speculations that seem to be getting louder and louder, all information about the formal launching date of the 2016 Ford Bronco should be taken with a fine grain of salt.

2015 Ford Bronco

The last official word from Ford Motor Company about its iconic vehicle happened way back in 2004 during the New York Auto Show where the carmaker displayed a concept design of the Ford Bronco. But nothing has been heard of the vehicle since until reports about the 2016 Ford Bronco started coming out in April last year.

Based on the 2004 concept, there were reports that the 2016 Ford Bronco would come out looking like a combination of a jeep and an SUV, which would be an ideal vehicle for going into safari or the jungle. It is for such reason that the vehicle was rumored to make its debut in the “Jurassic World” perhaps as a park vehicle.
