This might have something to do with the situation – it’s possible that Ford are waiting until they have a really solid design on their hands and not just something to calm down the masses that have been asking for a new Bronco for so long now.
The truck has a pretty much viral status right now on the Internet, and Ford most definitely realize this quite clearly. Because of this, the company obviously isn’t going to make any move that puts the reputation of the brand at risk, as right now anything they do is going to have a huge impact on that brand.
And being the smart company that they are, Ford are most likely waiting for the hype to die down a bit before they make their actual release. That way, they’ll allow people to judge the truck objectively instead of forcing them to see it through the eyeglasses of hype.
This is a common problem with various popular brand names and it’s not that surprising to consider that Ford might be suffering from a similar issue as well. After all, the Bronco is one of their most popular names and they realize that there is so much attention towards the new Bronco that they simply cannot afford to make any mistakes with this release.
