2016 Ford Bronco Gets Back in Circulation; Official Release to be Announced at the Detroit Auto Show Early Next Year!

As for the Ford Bronco, reports have it that it will be an evolution of the Everest SUV that the carmaker also based on the Ranger. However, it is said to feature a shorter wheelbase and it will come with a two-door model.

It will also be a serious off-roader and will be aimed to compete head-on with the Jeep Wrangler, which somehow validates reports and rumors that the next Ford Bronco will look like a combination of a jeep and SUV.

Assuming that the Ranger and the Bronco get the green light for production, it would likely be manufactured in the Michigan Assembly Plant, where Ford is currently producing the Focus and the C-Max. This actually puts the idea in question because the assembly plant can certainly not accommodate a third, much more a fourth vehicle line, for production and assembly.

However, there are reports that the production of both the Focus and the C-Max on the same plant will end in 2018, which means that the production of the Ranger and the Bronco could start by then.

Doing the math on the timeline, then it is likely that the new Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco will start hitting the market one year later or in 2019, with 2020 being a conservative target of release.
