Is the new MacBook Air going to live up to that hype though? We can’t really say anything about that one way or the other before the device is actually out.
But there has been a lot of interest in the Air line since it originally arrived to the market, and though some have been skeptical of it – and some have outright mocked it – it’s still clearly a device that people want to see.
And if the new MacBook Air actually deals away with the idea that this is an underpowered variant of the regular MacBook, this is going to be a pretty big release. Not just for Apple, but in general.
People might even start showing more interest in Apple than before, and pay more attention to their future releases as well. Although, again, Apple are not a company that tends to have issues maintaining a high level of popularity in their products, but this should definitely reflect positively on their overall portfolio, and should set some nice trends for their future releases. That is, of course, if the majority of rumors about the new MacBook Air are actually true.
