The research head might have a huge basis on her statement. Venture Capital Posts quotes Apple CEO Tim Cook saying that the iPad Pro will replace desktops and notebooks for several users.
Cook explains the trend that people are moving to the tablets from the PCs and sees portable devices as better alternatives to bulky desktops.
The Apple CEO says once people get hold of the iPad Pro, they won’t be needing a computer, a laptop, or a notebook anymore because the handy device can perform its functions. He adds that the other device that people would probably be needing is their iPhones.
The 2016 MacBook Air features the Intel Skylake-U chipset, an EI Capitan operating system, Type C-USB port, and Force Touch technology. It is also reported that the upcoming Apple notebook will come with an improved battery.
It will also be thinner than its predecessor and will most likely have Retina display as well. The next-gen MacBook Air will be available in two variants — the 13-inch and 15-inch. The newest addition to the MacBook Air family may carry a price tag of $1,500, more or less.
