2016 Apple MacBook Air Could Be the Last Offering in the Product Line Because of the iPad Pro!

However, it should be noted that even before the launching of the iPad Pro in September, there were already reports that Apple will be launching its 2016 MacBook Air in October. The same report indicated that the laptop shall only become available in March next year because the Intel Skylake processors will only be available during the fourth quarter of 2015.

The initial reports about the 2016 MacBook Air already indicated that it will upgrade its processor from Broadwell into Skylake.

The 2016 MacBook Air will reportedly come with a 13-inch and a 15-inch version but will be both thinner and lighter compared to its predecessors.

It is not clear if the $899 price point of the 2016 MacBook Air will be for its 13-inch variant or its 15-inch variant.

It shall also feature a USB Type-C port and a Retina display screen which would greatly improve users’ screen viewing experience through richer color and vibrant hues via a 178-degree viewing angle to enhance the display to its fullest.

The very competitive price point will make the device really worth the wait as Apple is not known to offer its products at a low introductory offer.

While the 2016 MacBook Air is not a hybrid laptop-tablet, Apple is said to be positioning its latest laptop line to give the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, a run for the consumers’ money, which only confirms that it will actually be in the same market as the iPad Pro.
