Toyota has resurrected the swagger wagon with last year’s debut of the 2015 Sienna. A stylish family wagon that has everything to offer comfortable and convenient riding experience for the entire family, the 2015 Toyota Sienna is the true kid-friendly vehicle and parents can only attest to it.
It has stylish exteriors to rival its competitors in an otherwise constricted minivan market segment since nearly every major player has decided to move on to the lucrative crossover segment already.
Thus far, the few remaining notable entries in the minivan market segment, at least in the US, are the Honda Odyssey, the Chrysler Twins, and the new Kia Sedona. Powerful too
More than its appealing stance from the outside, the 2015 Toyota Sienna is also a powerful vehicle emanating from a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder dual variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i) engine. It is capable of exhibiting maximum power of 266 horsepower at 6,200 rpm.
The 2015 Toyota Sienna can conveniently seat seven to eight passengers. What’s more, it also has a 454-kilogram or 1,000-pound towing capacity, which makes it a carry-all family car for any outdoor activity.
It comes in six different variants – the Sienna FWD, the Sienna LE FWD 8-passenger, the Sienna SE FWD 8-passenger, the Sienna Limited FWD 7-passenger, the Sienna LE AWD 7-passenger, and the Sienna XLE AWD 7-passenger.
Packed with creature comforts
The 2015 Toyota Sienna also has a redesigned interior that provides for all the creature comforts that a family could ask for in a car including the dual view rear seat Blu-ray entertainment system, a navigation system, an audio system with controls mounted on the steering wheel, and a sliding centre console.
In addition, it has Bluetooth connectivity, a 7-inch touch screen display at the center console, a JBL audio system, climate control, as well as Entune app suite.
The back seats also offer lounge seating giving passengers the added convenience. They also have access to climate control adjustments. The third row is also flexible so it can be for additional passengers or cargo if necessary.
The 2015 Toyota Sienna also has the Toyota Star Safety System which are accident avoidance features including the advanced braking control and the backup sonar, ably supported by a backup camera, airbags, enhanced vehicle stability control, and blind spot monitor system, making the family van really a cut above the rest.
