There is a new model pickup truck that is supposed to come from Toyota later this year and if it were not for the leaked images that showed up last September, it might not be creating that large of a buzz right now. Toyota is bringing in a lot of marketing to make sure that consumers are aware of the new 2015 Toyota Hilux and it might be working. This week, more leaked images showed up online and according to some reports, they are of the final production.
The images claim to show what loyal Toyota fans can expect when they visit the dealerships around the world to make the purchase. The concepts were getting plenty of attention, but because a car or truck can change many times from concept to dealership, the consumers were not sure what they were going to get. The photos were leaked and that was it. There was no additional information explaining them and that has left consumers wondering.
The 2015 Toyota Hilux is expected to be one of the best selling pickup trucks in Australia and anywhere else that the company decides to sell it. The leaded photos showed on on the Autoblog Greece and are being compared to “spy” photos, so that might be the reason that no additional information has been released with them. The images do reveal what part of the front end will look like, as well as the back side of the truck.
Early rumors and new reports indicated that Toyota was going to change up the overall front end design to make the truck look “tougher” and according to the images, it does appear that was accomplished. The brand new, 2015 Toyota Hilux will not be at the motor show in Bangkok next month, so that means that consumers will have to wait a little longer to get the first test drive. With more of the competition getting ready to reveal new models by mid-year, one would hope Toyota would do the same.
According to reports, Chevy, Nissan, Ford and Mazda are expected to be releasing mid-year models this year, so Toyota will have to decide if it can do the same, or wait until the dust settles and release the 2015 Toyota Hilux at that point. Rumors and other suggested news claimed that Toyota was going to bring a “larger” version of the 2015 Toyota Hilux, compared to the N70 models that were released back in 2005. The new models will be released as single cab, dual cab and extended cab models that offer gasoline or diesel fuel options.
