2015 Jeep Wrangler Audio System Gets An Upgrade!

Are you a fan of the Jeep Wrangler? There are so many Jeeps on the road today it is tough to drive on a given day and not see one in the form of one model or the other. One of the most popular Jeep models includes the 2015 Jeep Wrangler. With a smaller body style, more square look and a very loyal following no matter where you go, the 2015 Jeep Wrangler is one of the fan favorites.

In the recent news this week, the 2015 Jeep Wrangler is making headlines because of a feature that you can find on the inside of the vehicle. According to at least one source, Alpine and Jeep partnered up to build a weatherproof audio system. The new audio system is going to be just as tough as the Jeep Wrangler is known for being. Jeep Wranglers have been known for ripping off the top and doors to take to the trails to get dirty.

Since the Wrangler models have been released over the years, they have become much more weatherproof along the way. Leading up to the 2015 Jeep Wrangler and its washable interior, the car maker knew he had to bring in a new audio system that was just as tough as the rest of the vehicle. What can you expect from one of the toughest Jeep models on the market? The designers at Jeep and Alpine got together and created this weatherproof system.

The only thing that both companies knew they were going to have to worry about was making it as tough as the Jeep that it is installed in. With that being said, those that buy into the 2015 Jeep Wrangler will be able to enjoy the 9 speaker audio system that is powered by a 500-watt amplifier. The system features a 12-channel DSP that brings audio profiles for top on and top off driving. The entire system consists of four tweeters and four 6.5-inch full-range speakers.

You might be thinking that only totals 8 speakers, but consumers will not want to forget about the weatherproof, 8×12-inch subwoofer that is mounted on the floor of the cargo area. The speaker is pointed towards the ceiling and might seem like a weird place to put a speaker, but in that location it will not take up much cargo space. Cargo space in a vehicle that is as small as the Jeep, you are going to want as much as you can get and that comes down to inches in some cases.
