The changes are obvious right from the very first pictures, as the car has received a visual overhaul and now looks significantly more modern. Beneath the shiny exterior however, it’s also seen some improvements to its mechanical components, and is now a very capable model in its class.
Buyers who want a powerful ride can invest in a special new edition of the i30, the i30 Turbo. The difference in the new model will be a 1.6 liter petrol engine, which should offer a nice, definitely noticeable increase in power when behind the wheel of the car. This model seems to be aimed primarily at buyers who want more room for customization and mechanical tuning, although the increase in power should come as a nice feature for anyone in general.
Reports indicate that the car’s overall handling has been fine-tuned as well, and it now performs much better under most conditions, with most tweaks aimed at either getting more performance out of it, or ensuring that it controls smoothly and intuitively.
