The 2015 Honda Fit has been going very strong on the market, and just last month its sales went up 55% with 6421 cars sold throughout the month. In fact, the situation has reached a point where people are buying the cars faster than Honda is manufacturing them, reportedly leading to a potential shortage in some markets. Honda haven’t been shy about enjoying their success either, as they should be, since the new Fit is shaping up to be one of the most successful launches of the year.
Various things could be attributed to the car’s success, but all reviewers have noted the significantly improved technical capabilities and the lower emissions from the engine. This was, in fact, one of the main priorities of Honda in the design of the new Fit, with their “EarthDreams” technology that reduces emissions to nearly none. Not only that, but the car has a much better fuel efficiency as well – not just compared to its own line, but also many other cars in the same class.
And in the end, all of those features are offered for just under $16,000 for the base model. This, combined with the car’s diverse appeal, has made for very strong interest in it from the public, and it’s completely understandable why people have been so eager to buy the 2015 Fit in its various locations.
Various dealerships have apparently also been reporting strong sales for the Fit individually, which can only reinforce what is already publicly known about the car’s performance on the market. It’s not known how the car will continue to perform in December, as the month has traditionally been variable when it comes to car sales, but for now, the Fit has been going strong, and it appears that it will remain to do so for quite some time.
Most critics’ initial reactions to the car were mixed, although some were hopeful that it will be received more warmly once people see what it’s capable of – and indeed, after it came out on the market, the Fit has performing very well on the market, while people have also been discussing it very positively. All in all, Honda seem to have done a great job improving over the car’s previous iterations, and are learning quite fast from what people are saying about the car.
There have been some minor reports about issues with the battery, but those have not been very prominent, and seem to be isolated incidents more than anything. Most people seem to be reporting positive experiences with the car’s battery, on the other hand, and Honda themselves haven’t made any official comments about potential battery issues.
