The 2015 Honda Fit has been quite the hot topic lately, as various reviewers have been discussing the car’s features in detail, and have been commending Honda for making yet another successful compact release. And yet, while the car has been seen as a good addition to the market for the most part, there are certain problems with its design which reviewers have been pointing out.
The car is quite small, and yet it packs a powerful 130 horsepower engine that can deliver good power on the road, and makes for a more than adequate driving experience in both urban environments as well as out of town. And while the exterior is designed with compactness in mind in every possible way, stepping into the 2015 Honda Fit is a surprising experience, according to most reviewers.
On the inside, the new Fit is quite spacious and makes for a comfortable, enjoyable ride even on longer distances. There have been rumors that Honda have been trying to put extra effort in this aspect of their designs, and make their compact models feel more roomy, and now it seems that the company’s engineers and designers have been successful in this task. Reviewers have been generally fond of the interior materials as well, although the response to that has been mixed.
On the other hand, there has been criticism towards some features of the new 2015 Honda Fit – as well as the lack of others. The instrument panel has been described as messy and not very intuitive to use, while at the same time, the car’s voice recognition system has been showing less than stellar performance in advanced tests. Still, it seems to be good enough for the needs of the average user, although Honda should certainly try to improve this aspect of the Fit if they want to make it a truly popular model.
It should be noted that the price of the 2015 Honda Fit is quite attractive for what it offers – at just $15,525 for the standard model, it’s good competition against other offers in the same class on the market right now. Buyers who’re not interested in too many extra features and just want a comfortable, simple ride experience at an affordable price should definitely check out the new Fit and give it a test drive, as this is shaping up to be one of the most attractive models on the compact/subcompact market at the moment. If Honda release some updates to address the voice recognition issues (something which should be entirely fixable on the software side), the car can very well become a leading model in its market class.
