Have you watched the show 19 kids and counting? It has been one of the most popular television shows on TLC. Now that some of the children are old enough to be married the news sites have been slowly keeping up on whether or not children are pregnant or getting married. Currently Jill Dillard is at the 38th week mark and will be due this month according to sources. The Duggar family has plenty of controversy in it. Anna has taken to Twitter to show her disgust for a Muslim holiday coming to schools claiming “as a Christian I’m offended”. As if the family has not been in the news enough, the tweet is actually referring to a policy that is coming to New York City giving public schools the chance to close for two Muslim holidays.
Most people might not care, but Anna is going to voice her opinion on Twitter as much as she possibly can, according to reports. Another child, Jessa, is possibly pregnant according to sources. Jessa is married to Ben and even though they did not confirm she was pregnant, while on a Southern Women’s show in Tennessee her husband Ben, had a weird tone when asked about having children. According to one source Jessa even said that she did not have any big news to share with anyone, assuming everyone is asking about being pregnant. Even if the couple is not pregnant at this time it does seem the couple is trying to conceive, according to reports.
As of right now 19 kids and counting is in the 15th season, probably making some of us feel quite old. The family has been in the news quite a bit over those 15 years mostly due to the fact that the parents have 19 children and most of the critics were talking about their religious views. Even though having that many children is not that big of deal, the United States was mostly surprised that they had such a huge family and were able to maintain the family structure and the religious views throughout all the children.
When the show began in September 2008, it was called 17 kids and counting as the couple, Jim Bob and Michelle, had a few more children the title of the show changed to its current title, 19 kids and counting. The couple were married back in 1984 with their first child, Josh, being born in 1988. Throughout the show there has been plenty of drama with Michelle even giving birth by C section to Josie in 2009, which was three months premature. Wondering if the couple would have more children Jim Bob and Michelle both exclaimed they would have more and in 2011 announced that that they were expecting the 20th child. Only one month later Jim Bob announced that his wife Michelle had miscarried.
