The stars of “19 Kids and Counting” are definitely not strangers to drama, and that was basically the show’s whole premise for the most part. And it’s therefore not surprising to see the various cast members of the production still going at it even after the show was taken off the air. Something new is coming up and it’s been the subject of most discussions related to “19 Kids and Counting” cast members recently, and it looks like pretty much everyone is involved with the drama right now, or at least has some opinion on it.
The issue in question is related to Jessa Seewald this time – she’s been reportedly headed to getting her own spin-off production related to her previous work on “19 Kids and Counting”, and she’s been trying to put her fame to work by building a better name for herself and getting the exposure she could truly have after the drastic end of “19 Kids and Counting”.
However, her plans have led to some additional issues as some members of the family haven’t been that approving of the show, according to rumors. The fact that Josh Duggar is apparently being left out of the show as his sister wants to specifically distance herself from him in the public certainly doesn’t do any good for those tensions either, and there is apparently quite a bit of heat within the family right now. We don’t know where things will end up, but we definitely don’t expect Josh Duggar to appear on the screen anytime soon.
Jessa apparently didn’t take the cancellation of her previous show that well, and she’s been craving to get back into the spotlight ever since. We don’t know if the new show is actually going to play out according to her expectations or if she’s in for even more disappointment, but it would certainly be interesting to see what she can bring to the screen.
Some people are apparently suspecting that she just wants to exploit her fame from “19 Kids and Counting” to get her own show off the ground, and while that’s most certainly a contributing factor, we wouldn’t go as far as to say that it’s her primary motivation in all this. It’s quite obvious that Jessa really does long for the screen and she wants to see her face on TV yet again, but she might face some issues with that if she doesn’t sort out the controversy surrounding her name.
Many people have chimed in to say that this is not really her fault anyway – the last show was canceled because of her brother, Josh Duggar, and the scary allegations that came out against him. This was a major scandal which quickly led to the show being taken off the air, and while some fans spoke out against the idea, it was hard to justify the actions of Josh Duggar at the same time and defend having him on the screen for much longer.
There might be other issues in the way of Jessa Duggar too, according to rumors. Her father, Jim Bob Duggar, might be a bit disapproving of the whole situation and he’s apparently not that keen on letting his daughter have her own show. This is not even the first time something like this has happened behind the family’s closed doors, according to reports, as Jessa was previously supposed to star in a new series together with Jill, but that didn’t happen when Jim Bob intervened.
