We don’t know where the truth is and whether TLC should consider bringing “19 Kids and Counting” back to the screen, but we certainly agree that if “Jill & Jessa” sees enough success, this could indicate a positive future for “19 Kids and Counting” itself.
The show just started though, so it’s early to say if it will manage to prevail in the long run. There are various factors that can play into its success, and the popularity of its main characters is not all that matters.
With enough time, it should become clear if people have a positive attitude towards the idea of continuing “19 Kids and Counting”, or if TLC should keep looking in another direction and forget about this idea completely.
For what it’s worth, there have been reports that TLC apparently had a significant loss when they cancelled the original run of “19 Kids and Counting”, so reviving the show right now is obviously a risky move for them and not one that they would treat lightly. Whatever decision the network ends up making, we’re sure that it will come after a lot of market research and a patient evaluation of how well the current show performs and how much attention people are paying to it.
