But in the end, Elon Musk probably never expected this to be an easy task in the first place. As we said above, he’s an entrepreneur with a lot of experience and very strong thinking in his area, and we don’t doubt that he has some solid plans up his sleeve.
He knows how to transform the businesses he touches into successful ventures, and Tesla has been evolving quite well so far, moving mostly according to Musk’s initial plans. Progress hasn’t been very fast overall, but patience is important when developing something like this.
If they succeed, we would be hearing a lot about the company in the future – we wouldn’t be surprised if Tesla ends up becoming a household name much like other mainstream brands that have been around for much longer.
And if that happens, we also expect to see the popularity of electric cars as a whole skyrocketing and the idea becoming more widespread and accepted by everyone. Which is important in itself, because the advance of electric cars doesn’t just depend on proper manufacturing practices and active development by the companies, it also requires a lot of interest from buyers themselves and the crowds need to adapt to the idea fully. Which won’t happen overnight, but Tesla are definitely helping to speed up the situation.
