Samsung Galaxy S4 Possibly not Getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Along with Other Devices!

Another device that is likely not going to get the update is the Galaxy Note 3, although that one was a bit less shocking to most people. Many were expecting that the device would be skipped for the newest Android versions, although the custom ROM community is still as active as always and on the lookout for opportunities to release a unique version for that device too.

Samsung themselves have been keeping quiet on the issue and they don’t want to say anything about their future plans for the devices. The company is known for delaying Android releases quite a bit for some of their models, and it’s possible that they haven’t decided to cancel the update for the Galaxy S4, but are just going to release it later.

That might be beneficial to owners of the phone to some extent if it gives them an update with a bit more polish added to it.

In the end, we don’t know what’s happening in the future and all we can do is wait. But Samsung with their secretive approach to new updates might be in a bit of trouble from their fans if they want to prevent users of the S4 and other devices from getting the new Android version, especially if this extends to even more models.
