‘Outlander’ Season 2 Would Have Nailed a Big One if Producers could Convince Sophie Turner to Play Brianna!

In fact, in the current filming for Season 2 of “Outlander,” the production has already made use of 6,500 hangers, indicating the huge number of costume requirements for its cast.

However, considering the second season is set in France during the 18th century where fashion was incredibly important, the show really had to keep up. Back in Season 1, “Outlander” was set in Scotland and the series had a very real and authentic feel to it because of the costumes worn by the characters.

But the volume of Scottish costumes during Season 1 pales in comparison to the volume of French costumes in the upcoming second season so obviously, the series is staying true to form in terms of authenticity and realism.

Speaking of filming, executive producer Maril Davis actually announced on Twitter that “Outlander” has just marked its 300th day of filming on October 29, which is close to a full year already.

It is obvious that the producers, creators, cast, and crew members have poured in a ton of work for the show over the last two years and with the good reception and popularity of “Outlander” as a TV series, it seems like all their efforts are paying off dividends.

  1. I am sure Sophie Turner would have been great but just think if we only used well know actors and actresses we might not have gotten Sam to play Jamie and that would have been a tragedy.
