It was wish granted for porn star Mia Khalifa when former Notre Dame Quarterback Everett Golson confirmed that he will be playing for the Florida State Seminoles this year.
The most-searched adult film star on Pornhub was actually among the first to officially welcome Golson to his new college football team when she tweeted on May 19 welcoming the Quarterback to the family.
Mia is obviously referring to the Florida States Seminoles family, where she claims to be its unofficial mascot and officially a die-hard fan.
Capable replacement
Getting Everett Golson to its fold is a big win for Florida State Seminoles after losing Heisman Trophy winner James Winston in the 2015 NFL Draft. Winston was selected No. 1 overall in the recent 2015 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, details Fansided.
Golson is more than a capable replacement for Winston. He led Notre Dame to a national championship before falling out of favor in South Bend.
Apart from Golson, Mia Khalifa also attempted to lure into the Florida State Seminoles fold Quarterback Braxton Miller early this year but has not been getting the positive interest that the Seminoles got from Golson.
Last week, Mia Khalifa’s Twitter account was full of excitement over the prospect of landing Everett Golson for the Florida State Seminoles.
In her tweets on May 11, she is actually one of those millions in Florida hoping to finally land the prolific QB to their fold. She mentioned some of the things that Golson could look forward to if and when he finally agrees to join and play for the FSU including oranges, sunshine, and crab legs too.
Mia also egged Golson on her Twitter page by saying that he would just be fine wearing gold or garnet or any other colors, alluding to the gold uniform of Notre Dame.
She also announced that Everett Golson was visiting Florida State University that day, indicating that the Quarterback is really considering of formally taking his football act to the Seminoles.
Transfer likely
Even before he accepted the transfer offer, it has been reported that Everett Golson may indeed transfer from Notre Dame and his likely landing spot is Florida State.
Golson was actually seen at the Tallahassee campus of FSU to visit the school and get to know school officials as well as get a feel of the environment although he has yet to make a formal decision on whether he would really move in to Florida State.
Florida State has in its Quarterback roster Sean Maguire, who led the team to a victory over Clemson, the talented Deondre Francois, and De’Andre Johnson joining the program next season.
If and when the former Fighting Irish star decides to join FSU, these three would be competing against him for the starting QB job when the season begins later in the year.
