Hideo Kojima and his development team in Kojima Productions have already confirmed that a six-minute trailer of the open-world action adventure stealth video game “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” will be showcased during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 to be held next week at Los Angeles, California.
Given the huge anticipation and the long wait that gamers had to endure for the coming of the fifth installment of the video game, the unveiling of the trailer of “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” is definitely one of the main highlights of the E3 2015, notes VG24/7.
The release of the “Metal Gear Solid 5” trailer was reconfirmed by Geoff Keighley, host of YouTube’s E3 coverage, in a tweet on June 11 saying that fans and gamers should not miss the exclusive world premiere on June 15 of the epic six-minute trailer of “MGS 5” as edited by Hideo Kojima.
With the length of the trailer for the upcoming video game, it is expected that it shall not only focus on the storyline for the “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” but most likely reveal about other key details including its gameplay.
Initial feedbacks by those who have been fortunate enough to get an inside info on the upcoming stealth video game all state that “MGS 5” is Hideo Kojima’s best video game to date.
“Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” is scheduled to roll out to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on September 1 while the PC version will come a few weeks later.
Parted ways
Despite the recent falling out between game designer Hideo Kojima and his development company Kojima Productions and game publisher Konami, the launching of the upcoming “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” would not be delayed at all.
While both Kojima Productions and Konami are keeping mum about the real reason why they decided to part ways, it is likely that both companies are just waiting for their official separation come December this year before each starts talking about the falling out.
As a result, various speculations have started to come out as to the reason why the two Japanese companies have finally decided to end their once productive partnership and business relationship.
Business as usual
The falling out may have been a result of several rumored reasons including criticisms over “Quiet’s” sexiness, David Hayter not lending his voice to Snake, Konami removing Kojima’s marks on the majority of the series and his other works, site re-direction from Kojima’s site to Konmai’s, neurosurgeon Sergio Canavero’s claim of ‘face robbery,’ the rift has actually become a circus and many internet sites have been feasting on it for quite some time now.
Canavero even filed a police report last month claiming likeness was used without his permission for a character that appeared on the game’s trailer. The doctor appears serious in bringing the matter to court and possibly persecute those behind the game.
