‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Official Release Date Likely to be Announced by Square Enix!

Japanese game developer Square Enix has recently released “Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, a mobile game available for iOS and Android devices, that is a prequel to the entire Kingdom Hearts saga set before the Keyblade War.

Thus, the chances of the crossover role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3” coming out soon on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One also heighten.

Latest reports have it that the game developer will possibly launch the game at the coming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 to be held next month in California, where Square Enix will likely announce the official release date of the game on the gaming consoles.

There is no PC version that has been announced yet by the game developer for “Kingdom Hearts 3” but if the development of “Final Fantasy XV” on the PC is to be the basis, then it will just be a matter of time when the PC mode of “Kingdom Hearts 3” also comes out, notes Gaming Bolt.

No PC version thus far

It was actually Hironori Okayama, producer of “Kingdom Hearts Unchained X” mobile video game who hinted in an interview during the recent PAX East 2016 event that Square Enix might finally announce something about the highly-anticipated “Kingdom Hearts 3” at the E3 2016.

It is also possible that in addition to the announcement of the release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3” on the gaming consoles, Square Enix might drop a new trailer for the game and give gamers a glimpse of a few more worlds, whether Disney or otherwise, that have been added to the game since last year, cites Neurogadget.

It could be recalled that during the E3 2015, Square Enix also showcased a trailer for “Kingdom Hearts 3” before announcing the release date then for “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.” Shortly thereafter, the Japanese game developer disclosed that it was already working on the mobile video game “Kingdom Hearts Unchained X.”

Most gamers and enthusiasts think that the Japanese game developer will take the same route it did last year and make the announcement about “Kingdom Hearts 3” in one of the E3’s press conferences.

Have yet to do recording

Although nearly every fan of “Kingdom Hearts 3” is certain that the game would not come out this year as it is most likely to happen next year, it seems that there is a bit of bad news going around especially when the voice actor for Axel, one of the game’s character, confirmed that he has not done any recording thus far.

Voice actor Quinton Flynn, the person behind the lead character Axel in the “Kingdom Hearts” video game franchise, recently took to Twitter to say that he has yet to be called by Square Enix to do voice recording for the character.

His post on Twitter had a bit of sarcasm on it when he remarked that game developer Square Enix should step up the production of “Kingdom Hearts 3” soon because Quinton needs to pay his bills too.

It seems like Flynn is quite upset with the apparent delay in the game’s development and several fans of the popular video game series also share his sentiments.

However, there is a glimmer of hope as to the possibility of “Kingdom Hearts 3” getting released earlier as some reports point out that the other voice actors for the video game have already started doing voice recording.

It is possible that Square Enix is putting Quinton Flynn’s voice recording schedule towards the end or worst, they have considered a different voice actor for Axel, which seems unlikely.

It was voice actor Jim Cummings who confirmed that he has already been called by Square Enix to start voice recording already for “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
